Guidelines

Anyone from first-time artists and writers to seasoned cultural workers and scholars are encouraged to submit. We can assist with recording, transcribing, and editing your work. Our primary genres include fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art. We accept stories, personal narratives, memoirs, essays, plays, mixed media, and more!


  • We welcome original, unpublished work. Previously published work will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Any formatting style and file format for submissions is fine. We will work with you to ensure final prints are standardized and high-resolution.

  • Submissions are limited to two per person for any written work.

  • Approximate word counts:

    • Fiction: up to 4,000 words

    • Nonfiction: up to 2,000 words

    • Poetry: up to 2,000 words

    • Other works will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

  • We welcome submissions in multiple genres. 

  • You may publish anonymously under a pen name.
