Brief: Chino lives in Oakland and is a transmasculine Mexican-Chinese fiction writer who has an MFA from California College of Arts and is pursuing an MA from San Francisco State University.

Long: Chino is a Mexican-Chinese fiction writer who lives in East Oakland with his beautiful family, and is now pursuing his second MFA degree at San Francisco State University. He earned his first MFA in Creative Writing at California College of the Arts and published a short story called “I Walked Into the Oaks Club,” in GenderQueer: Voices From Beyond the Sexual Binary, an anthology edited by Joan Nestle, Clare Howell and Riki Wilchins in 2002. It’s a story of choices, outcomes and legacy as a QTPOC.

Brief: Jai's life motto is staying vulnerable, tender, and fierce. They have a BA in Gender and Women’s Studies, Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies, with a minor in LGBT Studies. Their past works include their short film called My Femme Is A Reflection has been shown at QWOCMAP and the SF Trans Film Festival.

They have been part of TAKEOVER: Kristina Wong which showed at the Asian Art Museum as part of the Pokémon Socialist Go group.

Brief: Jamil supports the API Transmasculine Anthology as Workshop Facilitator and Visual Art Editor.

Long: Jamil Moises is a writer, herbalist and expressive arts therapist currently holding space on Sogorea Te Ohlone territiry. His creative and literary practices align with the kind of world they want to live in: one that supports empowering learning environments, intergenerational healing, and realizing just and caring cultures. In solidarity with the APITA, he hopes to cultivate radical support systems where API folks across the transmasculine spectrum can feel seen, heard and deeply rooted in transpower.

Brief: Based in Oakland and originally from Sacramento, CA, Jesse is a proud trans, Mexipino (Mexican/Filipino) with a background in both visual arts and finance.

Long: Jesse D. Burger is a proud Trans, Mestizo (Filipino/Mexican/German/Irish) creative and finance professional based in Oakland, CA. He is originally from Sacramento and has lived in the Bay Area since 2004 (-3 years in NYC for graduate school). Their artwork draws from experiences as a 3rd generation, mixed, Queer person. Jesse's grandmother was Mexican from Tucson, AZ; his grandfather immigrated from Ilocos Norte, Phillipines as a farm worker and together they raised 7 children in Walnut Grove, which is a small agricultural town along the Sacramento River. Jesse's artwork references this rich cultural background and is stylized with line and bright colors.

Brief: T is a non-binary Southeast Asian Product Designer in San Francisco, CA. They have experience in leveraging their background in design, branding, and digital media strategy to help small startups, big businesses, and tech events succeed.

Long: T Sripunvoraskul is a Product Designer at Rally Health, a digital health technology company focusing on helping people navigate their health care journey. Their passion is making products more accessible, approachable, and authentic by championing for equality and user-centered design. In the past, T previously worked at 500 Startups, Microsoft, and early stage startups. They leveraged their experience in design, branding, and digital media strategy to help early digital products and over a hundred events succeed. They live in San Francisco, CA where they love to mentor queer and trans folks getting into tech and work on initiatives like QTPOC Tech Mentorship nights and the API Transmasculine Anthology.
